Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of Frevi. By using Frevi, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Summary
Last updated April 13, 2026
Using Frevi
Frevi provides encrypted file sharing and encrypted text sharing with optional time limits, view limits, password protection, and account-based share management.
You may use Frevi only in compliance with applicable law and only for content you have the right to upload, store, send, and share.
Your account
Some features are available without an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when signing up, including a valid email address if you want to use account features that depend on verification or password recovery.
Acceptable use
You may not use Frevi to:
- break the law or violate another person's rights;
- upload, store, or distribute malware, phishing material, or other harmful code;
- attempt unauthorized access to Frevi, other accounts, or related systems;
- abuse, overload, scrape, probe, or interfere with the service;
- share content that you do not have the right to share; or
- use Frevi in a way that could harm other users or the security of the platform.
Encrypted content and your responsibility
Frevi is designed so shared content is encrypted in the sender's browser before it is stored. That design improves privacy, but it does not make illegal or prohibited use acceptable.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload, the recipients you share with, and any passwords or links you distribute.
Availability, expiration, and deletion
Frevi is a temporary sharing service. Shares may become unavailable because they expire, hit a configured view limit, are revoked by their owner, or are removed for security, abuse, maintenance, or legal reasons.
We do not guarantee that any share, account feature, or URL will remain available for any specific period of time.
Service changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Frevi at any time. We may also add limits, eligibility rules, or security requirements as the product evolves.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Frevi, remove content, or disable shares if we believe it is necessary to protect the service, comply with law, investigate abuse, or enforce these terms.
Third-party services
Frevi relies on third-party infrastructure and identity providers, including Vercel, AWS, and Google sign-in. Their availability and policies may affect how parts of the service operate.
Disclaimers
Frevi is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frevi and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.
Privacy
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Frevi after a change becomes effective means you accept the updated terms.
